The Crafty Fox

I just couldn’t help myself. The shoes weren’t enough, I had to make the leggings as well! I mean come on just look at these sexy beasts! Besides why drop $50 on the Black Milk ones when you could make your own!! Very easy, very cheap, and most importantly very sexy. Enjoy ;)

1. Obviously you need a pair of black leggings.

2. Pour some bleach into a clean spray bottle.

3. Go in your back yard, lay the leggings out and spray in areas where you want to create the nebula’s. This will create a rusty orange color. Flip over and do the other side.

4. Soak the bleached leggings in cold water and throw them in the dryer.

5. Once they are dried, it is time for fabric paint. I used purple, blue, white, and yellow.

6. Get a sponge and blot the purple fabric paint over the rusty orange nebula’s. (I used a foundation sponge)

7. Repeat the same with blue.

8. Get a paint brush and splatter white and yellow on to make stars.

9. Let it dry for a few hours then flip and do back side. Let them dry over night and by morning time you’ll be sporting your new galaxy leggings!

Hope you liked this DIY project! If you actually do the project let me know how it goes I want to hear from ou guys!! <3

Alright this week I decided to make my own galaxy shoes! Wasn’t very time consuming and turned out pretty well! Here is how :)

1. You need a pair of black shoes I got mine from rite aid for about $7

2. You will need turquoise, purple, white, black, and yellow acrylic paint

3. First use a sponge ( I used a makeup one) and dip it in the purple and white paint. Sponge it in patches around the entire shoe.

4. Repeat the same step except with turquoise.

5. Get a paint brush and splatter white all over for stars. Then do the same with yellow.

6. I decided to sponge more black on

7. Lastly I hand painted little tiny white dots and crosses for extra stars and then you’re all done!!

Good luck and hope you enjoyed this weeks D.I.Y galaxy shoes!

I was surprised out how well these shorts came out! Really quick and easy D.I.Y project. Not to mention they look badass! For this project I used a pair of light jeans I found at goodwill and transformed them into these babies! So here is how:

1. First you need a pair of white/light colored shorts

2. Buy two different colored dye’s (I got mine from Michael’s)

3. Mix the lighter colored dye with hot water in a bucket. Make sure you have a towel it gets messy

4. Put on rubber gloves and dunk the shorts into the dye for about thirty seconds. Ring them out.

5. Mix in the darker color dye to the bath and dip the bottoms of the shorts in to create the ombre effect. Ring them out and rinse under cold water for a few minutes.

6. Hang the shorts out to dry for a few hours, you can throw them in the dryer if you want.

7. Once the shorts are dried you can distress them how you want with a knife.

8. I bought studs online, place them wherever you want on the shorts. I chose to rip open the back pocket and put them there, but you can put them wherever you want.

And then voila! Your new pair of dip-dyed shorts are ready to be worn!
